In January 2014, we renewed the previous year’s support of the elementary schools. By increasing our donations, the student population grew 3 fold as a result.
A new project was born out of the increased student attendance – building a secondary school to continue their education. Our trip in January 2015 brought with it $15,000 toward school construction and a crew of volunteers from Heartreach International and other charities to provide help to build and finish the school building. Enrollment had already begun before the school was even finished, which is the reason your donations make such a difference.
